hello

i would like to buy an M3 with 155 000km,the car hasen't no one crash,all the services are made
what i must control to take at home a good car?
this is the M3:
BMW M3 Individual, 2003 god.

That's to much money for the car. The car has too much mileage for his price.
Even if the car is perfect, it is too expensive. The price for such a car is about 20'000

tnx for answer,the price is too higher because here in Croatia we must pay more taxes when we buy a new car or when we import
here we have 2 taxes,the first depend how much cost the car outside Croatia and the second is the mwst. 23% in Croatia
look,my 325 in 2006(second hand)cost in Germany without mwst. 19k euros,when i import it it cost finnaly 28k euro...is crazy but is reality in Croatia

I think there are two points that you can check direct.
- All service done at BMW in the correct time or earlier ? (< 25.000km)
- Are the piston rod bearings and oilpump changed ?

As you know that's still a problem for the S54 engine.

The rest is listen to the engine/gearbox, maybe you can hear something what is wrong.
Or hope that nothing is wrong

It looks like, that the exhaust and suspension have been modified.

the differential is a risc?

every service is made at time,only i don't know if there was changed gear and differential oils

Kupuje se M3? Ljepo. Cijena je malo visoka, ali nazalost u nas realnost. Pazi na Service Knjigu, KM-stelanje i da je vec motor sreden, Znaci lezaji i pumpa ulja.

motor bi trebao biti ok,restyling,znam da prve serje su imale problem na lezaje klipnjaca,ali nakon 2003 mislim da su rijesili tvornicki

I like that car and would take this - even with that milage... if the price is ok for HR. And from pictures it looks real good in my opinion.

To be sure i would plan to change the oil pump and the bearings.
Differantial could or could not be cause some trouble.

yes, also the last upgrade of the oil pump and the bearings is not made for lifetime.

i myself now change the bearings and the oil pump after 96.000km. if the car is used often on track i would even change the parts earlier! so if you buy the car you should directly change those things!

if you´re car is a facelift you also have to buy the screws, number 2. if not facelift the screws are not available anymore and you have to use the old ones again
